"Aloha Joe in Hawaii" the book, is almost complete!

The first edition of Aloha Joe in Hawaii

is being professionally edited by the staff at

They offer a wide range of services for the independent author.

I am personally using the Silver Editing Service

and will be using Any Subject for my

distribution and marketing needs.

They are also going to help me get an ISBN

for my book so that I may sell it to a

much wider audience, than if I didn't have one.

And thank goodness for professional editors.

Now you guys will never know just how bad

a speller I really am.

I will be uploading the book for sale

as soon as it is available.

Thank you for your patience.

World's Largest Driftwood in Hawaii

World's Largest Driftwood?

I don't know if this really is the world's largest piece of

Hawaiian Driftwood.

I would have to guess that it is definitely a contender.

What do you guys think?

And, this is actually pretty common

around the island of Hawaii.

The trees grow very tall, very quickly.

The roots of the trees are relatively shallow because of the lava and

they tend to fall over quite easily in the high trade winds.

A Big Island Lava Tube

Some of the lava tubes here on the

Big Island are quite large.

These large tubes remain hollow

after the lava stops flowing.

The Kona Brewing Company

Today I visited the Kona Brewing Company in Kona Hawaii.

The beer just taste better when you are drinking it off

of the Kona Brewing Company Coasters in the

Brewery Bar. I'm not sure why, it just does.

I went for the Lavaman and it was great!

They offer tours of the brewery that last about an hour

if you include the free beer sampling.

Yes, I said Free Beer.

Carpe Diem!

Hawaiian Orchids at Akatsuka Orchid Farm

Hawaiian Orchids at Akatsuka Orchid Farm

I took a tour recently of this incredible Orchid farm.

You can tour for free and see alot of unique orchids.

They also have a section of their commercial operations available for viewing.

You can see how an orchid starts life all the way to it fully flowering.

They have full size orchids available for sale and offer shipping to all fifty states.

They also offer small plastic tubes of cutting that are more friendly to air travel.

I made a music video with one of my favorite bands "Stick Figure"

and their song aptly named

"The Hawaii Song."

Aloha to you and yours!
